HYDROMETER
A hydrometer must has a suitable design to make it efficient.
1) First, the hydrometer must made from glass to prevent it from corroding when used in acid.
2) The bulb must large to obtain a bigger upthrust in water.
3) The bulb also must filled with lead shots as it it is denser than sand.Thus,the hydrometer can stays upright and remain vertical in water.
4) the hydrometer also must has a small diameter of capillary tube to increase the sensitivity of the hydrometer.
5) Lastly, the stem of a hydrometer has to be longer so that he lower density of liquid can be measured.
SUBMARINE
A submarine must has these design to enables it to rise and submerge in water.
1)The submarine must has thick wall to withstand the high pressure of deep water.
2)The submarine also must made from low density material to reduce the mass and higher the buoyant force. [betul ke?? atau amek reason ni: to make it float easily on water]
3)The submarine also have a ballast tank to controll its position in water so it can sink and float easily.
4) The ballast tank must be large so that the submarine can submerge to a deeper level of sea.
